There are a few of us spread around the state. Where are you located? There are some old school mechanics in Old Mystic that can work on your truck. I stumbled on them a few months ago.
Riverside Automotive did some magic on my FJ60 and so far so good.

Thanks @Eric Hohlfelder @Cruiser Parking Only - we are in Canton. Appreciate the info and would definitely be interested in a coffee/brewery get together. I was fairly active in my old club when I lived in Raleigh several years ago as NC is jam packed with cruisers (and lots of multiples) so we always had big crowds at events. It’s been interesting how few and far between cruisers are up here in CT compared to NC. I love being in CT though as we can do a lot of driving and riding on the weekends (we have some bikes as well) as this area is so great for getting out on the road (and off road) without having to go far.

Haha looks like we’ve been spotted! Hi all-that’s my 40 and my bf’s 55. I just moved up to the area and he’s been here for 15+ years. Would love to meet some cruiser ppl and if anyone has a rec for a good mechanic, in need of a replacement. I left a hell of a good one behind.

Welcome to neighborhood my daughter lives right up the road, met your bf last year its probably been now, we’ll def have to meet up. We have a decent few cruiser folk around. Good place to start here with the club. Local mechanics, there is a guy in Bloomfield that has quite a few cruisers, and a shop. I could help you out potentially locally too. Next time I’ll knock...

Just passed a red 40, on wide 40’s, topless, red “Baja” nets on roll bar, on rt 17 in Northford, Ct. who dis?!?! Looked like a full size Peg Perego or hot wheels!

Sitting in a boat yard 1/4 mile from our shop apparently the 55 has been under wraps for the past few years talked with the owner about it said he wants to sell it told him to let me know slim chance I might know someone looking for one lol
