Another adventure....sounds like fun. You could pay for the trip bringing one or two of these packages home for the........ one or two FJ25 owners desperate for it. That pretty much confirms the theory of where the FJ25 tooling went in 1961.

Spotted a fairly decent 83 (my mistake, swore he said 83, apparently it’s a 93) pickup today and later an 87 4Runner.

Oh yeah pickup was an 83. My oops. Swore guy said 83, but I’ve been corrected, it’s a 93).
No note. Spoke to the guy, by the name Dave, at length, he was from Salem and is protecting the truck from his college aged son who can’t wait to take the top off. Dave said it’s never been off, ever (only one other owner before him) and he doesn’t want to risk any leaks forming.
It’s in great shape. He picked it up in RI a year ago.

In my book, when you pass a cruiser, you chase it till it stops. Then flash whatever random cruiser item you have in your car so they know you’re just as kooky about cruisers as they are. Then they thank you for following them and ask you a bunch of tech stuff and other stuff normal people don’t get. Then they take your number and you’ve got a new friend. At least that’s what I do.....
