A few months ago I replaced the nav unit on my 2002 with a new Sony double DIN unit. Ran new speaker wires from the head unit to under the passenger seat, removed the factory amp, and bypassed everything with the speaker wires per wiring diagrams. Replaced door speakers all the way around, with some external crossovers in the front doors for the separate tweeters.
A few weeks ago, I lost all audio to the passenger side, both front and rear. Finally getting around to checking things out, and I can throw the balance to the right side, all the way to the front, and get just a bit of audio out of the tweeter. Drivers side is fine, no issues.
Is there something that connects the drivers and passenger side somehow? It's odd for the whole side to go out, usually with a wire, I would expect just the front right, or rear right... but to lose both at the same time is odd.
