So, my wife picked up some wiper blades for my 1998 LX470, and ended up getting the wrong size. That's when I noticed that 98 and 99 take 20" blades, where 2000 - 07 take a 24" and a 22".

What changed? I imagine that the glass size is the same in all models. Are the arms different sizes, or maybe the motors more powerful? If I run the larger size will I burn my wiper motors up?

I believe the arms are different. I know the longer blades hit the molding on mine.

Yeah, she had bought the larger sizes for the newer years, it just seemed weird to me. Thanks for the response!

Interesting. My '99 uses the 22" and 24" blades, with the 24" on the driver side. I just verified this with a tape measure. These blades do not seem to make any contact with the molding on my 100.
