Note that there are two of them. One at the throttle body, and one at the air box.

and then you have the plastic pipe that runs across the engine bay.

Ah, thanks! I need to check my truck for vacuum leaks... has weird idle issues also.

The one at the air meter end of this is a much heavier rubber boot. It was in fine shape. The elbow at the intake was ready to crack through in a number of places... all of them on the bottom of course... Where you can't see them...
