Hello everyone - this is my first post!

I recently acquired a complete F engine block number F33182 (1970) and head number 60031.

The T-stat housing is very crusty inside but I can’t find a replacement that looks the same - it has a threaded post on top that appears to hold a bracket or something. I’ve search and haven’t seen another one like it.

Any ideas?

No clue. But welcome anyway. Lots of good vendors on the site. Plus a classified that has for sale and a wanted sections.
In the mean time perhaps some free download manuals

Coolermans wiring diragrams

Sor.com has lots of good data on application dates plus other stuff like serial number explanation

that doesn't look like a US spec Toyota/Landcruiser thermostat housing assembly

That's a 3F thermostat housing.
I would wager that engine is from South America

If this is a South American engine what other parts might be different from US specs?

Nothing really.
To be clear, the thermostat housing isn’t different because it’s from South America, it’s different because they just grab whatever is the closest and cheapest part that day that will fit to keep the thing running down there.

It would have looked like this (early-78 housing)
