...consider san jose covered. i work in los altos so i'll keep my eye out there as well.

as an aside, a friend of mind just had her early '90's jetta stolen from the train station in menlo park. cops found it in redwood city...actually caught the guys driving the vehicle. they had gone so far as to swap plates with plates from another stolen vehicle. cops pulled them over for speeding. in the end, she got her car back plus the added bonus of a porn magazine in the back seat.

OK. Here's a little levity for a bad situation. With the mention of something being left in the back seat, it reminded me of an email I was sent.

Go to this link; http://www.2dorks.com/junk/_audio/crankyankers-turd.mp3 if Windows Media Player (or what ever you use) doesn't open, down load the file (it's safe. I downloaded it and scanned it for viriuses before I played it) then play it.

The Fox is on it !

I can spot a cruiser from a 100 miles away.

And I will be all over nor cal.

Everyone understand, that spot light and sunroof are the keys to finding this vehicle. Those to things are one in a million. They can change the color of the truck, but odds are they wont mess with those other two things.

Remember that spot light.

Good luck to you.

PS, that's why we should use one of those club devices that prevent the clutch from being depressed! They take to long to remove and you cant drive the truck without removing them.

That's the first thing I bought for my FJ60 but if they really wanted it, they could flatbed it, but I don't think they'd do that.

I'm a mobile locksmith and go all around the bay area so i will keep a lookout for it.

Still no sign of the Cruiser. Thanks, however, to everyone on this string for continuing to keep your eyes peeled. With this crew, there's no way we won't find it!

Hey Curtis, I responded to your CL add. Consider Fremont/Union City/Newark covered. I also work in the South Bay so I will definitely keep my eyes pealed. You might also want to notify any junk or tow yards in the area. I really wish you get the 60 back home safe.

if it passes through the north bay you better believe they'll be having a little chat with some black top, no promises that ill find it with the aussi windows still intact though;). just gotta hope all comes out good. thieving punk asses

sorry to hear about your loss! i live in alameda and work in walnut creek and like everyone else will be on the look-out!

I work at a hospital in Missouri and we use the cameras in the parking garage. The quality may not be good, but they can view frame by frame and give the police additional information. Be persistant with the security dept.

Still no good news, but I REALLY appreciate all of you keeping the eye out and spreading the word. I'd LOVE to find my truck and, of course, the thiefs to bring some heavy justice! John, thanks for enlisting the services of your cousin in the p.d...very cool.

Still no word, unfortunately. Please continue to keep your eyes and ears peeled. Many thanks.
