Time to bump this one up....

OK Folks, I'll see about posting this in the calendar section side but we have about 10 FJ60 folks meeting for lunch at Red's Java House at Pier 30 in San Francisco on Sun Dec 9th at 11:30 ish.

I have always been told that just about all toyotas will open with a key that has been worn down a bit...
quite often you will see toyota keys that seem like they're totally worn out, kind of smooth... well, supposedly they will open almost anything.

when i bought my 60 the PO was showing me how you can use almost anything to open the doors...

I live in Oakland, and I'm rather surprised at the number of locals on this list. If I get my heap running I might try and make it to Red's.

I unlocked and started my brother's 1984 FJ60 the other day with my 1985 FJ60 key. Pretty funny...

we were driving over the Bay Bridge at 12:30p (racing back to East Bay for son's lacrosse practice) and I almost got in an accident trying to peer over the Bridge to see if I could see the lineup at Reds!
