I put a Retro Sound unit in mine. No cutting required. I chose the Hermosa model. There's one model below that with the same dimensions, but not all the bells and whistles. Also, these don't come with a CD player.

There's someone in central CA who takes an original stock radio and gives it modern electronics (FM). I have a note on it somewhere I'll try and find it.

Bobs radio and TV restoration. Oceano Ca 805 489 8200. I think he can but a modern FM receiver in an original bodied radio

it'll be nice to hear the radio again, even if it is only when standing still...

Sweet, thats the brand i was looking at. Don't care about CD, was just wanting a retro stock look with bluetooth capability. Not cheap, but...

thanks guys

Dual (Crutchfield) used to make a compatible unit or two. Basic AM/FM with a USB for charging and an Aux jack. Put one in Arnold. Perfect fit and decent sound. Perfect for the pig and inexpensive.

I will second the retro sound radio. Went with the Hermosa model. Simple, functional, looks factory, and I can jam to some rick astley
