STLCA is having our traditional New Years ride January 2-4,2015. The ride will be in the Cove. We will meet Friday at 10 AM CST
At Andy's shop off the Square in Jasper, TN. We will camp Friday and Saturday nights and come out Sunday afternoon. There will be a group supper Friday and Saturday nights and breakfast Saturday and Sunday mornings.
 
This will have to be a game time decision for me. Going to go to Memphis tomorrow to pick up the 2F race motor from Cam Mosley. Wife's having Shoulder surgery on Monday Morning. So depending on the motor swap including all the other stuff I've planned to do and how well the wife's 6-8 week recovery after surgery is going, Well just have to see, but from where I'm sitting I'll say I'm IN!

Nope, He took that Big a$$ Fuel tank out, has removed the RTT and is driving it like that. It Leveled back out. Not sure whats next for him.
 
P.S. I got my Duramax back---Bad Fuel Pump off the shelf. Still haven't tested it towing but I am going to load it down with firewood today!
 
Hendog - Where's your 40? Also-- what're the chances you have a spare drivers side window for a mini truck layin' around?
 
Any info about "the cove"? I will have to look at my schedual to see if i can make it. But i might try to make this if you guys dont mind a "new guy" tagging along.
 
The cove is one of those places that goes unadvertised but is a good place to wheel. Absolutely "new guys" are welcome. Hop over to the STLCA page for details or there might be a link up above.
 
I am really going to try and make this ride...I will be in the White 80 so I will have an enclosed truck with good heat (and a platform to sleep on) :grinpimp:
 
Ted What year Mini Truck??? We Have 1st Gen stuff. I'll be bringing the 40 to the Secret Place!!!.

I found one, for the first time in 6 years I'm gonna have an enclosed rig.

you aint kiddin, lookin like 15-20 rigs. That's sho gonna be a big string of junk rolling through them creek bottoms not to mention where de heck Roger plans on findin' a campsite for that many but i'm lookin forward to it. Still shooting for going up mid morning New Years day.
 
Haven't even begun to work on the 2F race motor swap. So I'm planning on being there. Ted we'll coordinate the exodus
from the Flying J in Resaca, looking forward to it!
 
I am looking forward to this ride too, its been years since I have been to the Cove...

No "Hooker's Heel" trail for me this time :doh:
