I’m just starting on my FZJ80 steering box conversion. Will the FZJ80 pitman arm work or should I reuse the fj60 pitman?
I realize I will need to team the 80 pitman arm to fit the fj60 tie rod end.

The 60 arm will bolt in, Can be a pain to remove from the 60 box if it is original and never removed.

FYI - The pitman arm hole on the 80 is smaller than the 60 tie rod end. I’m gonna need to team it out to fit.

Can't you keep the 80 pitman arm and run a 80 tie rod end? I think they are the same size and the thread pitch is the same.

You lose the steering stabilizer hole when you use the 80 tie rod end… I think I’m just gonna ream out the 80 arm and call it a day…
