The only nit tp pick is the drill you have to go through to set them up for the pressure you want. After that they are nice. If you want to change the pressure you need to do the dance again.

I have the Oasis deflators and found that setting them is easier if a bicycle tyre is used instead of a 33" tyre.

Soooo Doug, how did you get to be President? I don't recall the election

I'm not the president -- I simply proposed a simple solution to a particular problem several months ago...someone nominated...others supporedt the nomination.

IIRC, the discussion took place in a couple threads...I can dig up one of the threads if you really want the background. I don't recall where you were at the time -- probably hanging out only in tech...staying out of the nonsense in chat. :)

Naw, I was just trying to help you with your original question. Trying to turn the thread into chat. Doesn't look like it worked.

have them. never use them...can't ever remember which vehicle they're set for

Who has the best prices on these? I am tired of my manual air down procedure.

I scored a free set of the Oasis ones from a buddy who sold his jeep and never used them. I also set mine with a bike tire and would reccomend this process for everyone. I love the Oasis ones and can't imagine the Staun's being much different. I will have to pick up another set for the 60 though and may end up with Stauns for it. Either way I don't think you can go wrong with either manufacturer.

They are around 60 bucks a set. Slee Offroad sells them.

Ok, Staun newbie question, are they reliable?. I set them up using my spare, got them dialed in to 18psi. I used them on a recent snow run, screwed them on, waited, noticed one tire getting pretty low. Took the Staun off and checked the tire, 15psi.

Make sure you lock them down and recheck...
they are always around 60 bucks - got my two sets at Slee
