The sliders look great. Did you have a shop or a buddy bend them? i want to make some myself but always get a little lost when it comes to the bending of the tube.

They are pre-made from (TG) Trail Gear, as noted in the first post. The 3 outriggers are left unattached to allow for custom fitment to each vehicle. They are actually made for extended cab Toy mini-trucks, IIRC, but happen to fit a cruiser well. Since we're on the subject, you will have to account for the outboard exhaust/cat if it's going on a 62.
Thank you for the information. I looked up TG and it seems like a good deal. Did you pay under 200.00? I thought that sliders were more money than that. Can I install them without cutting through the pinch weld?
Those look like the same sliders I have... very similar. I like the tucked in design.hates it (she wants more of a "step").
P.s Great looking welds for flux.

"all of my welds were done using flux core wire which i am finally out of so now i have an excuse to buy a bottle and some solid wire for much cleaner prettier beads."
Unsolicited advice:
You may want to keep on with the flux core wire on welds that ought be strongest like that of sliders, especially if you are using a small 110 0r 240v Lincoln/ Miller welder. Your penetration will be deeper and welds stronger. Save the bottle gas-shielded welds for sheet metal repair or more delicate work. BTW, nice rear bumper.
