Def non-commercial then.Commercial units have a bigger round dish and the non-commercial have a smaller rectangular dish. Plus commercial is $500 a month.
The link shows the $25 12-48v converter (POE supply) and states that actual power draw is 19-48 watts. This says 100W @ 48V. Would be interesting to run solely from DC but few people have a 48V battery pack so you'd still need to convert from 12V to 48V. At 100W, that's 8.5A @ 12V, which is a lot of power.
That’s a neat place for it. I’m curious what you end up doing for dish storage, its in that strange space of not that big but the mounting pole makes it too deep to pack away easily. Mine gets stuck in my camper without being packed in anything.Just painted and installed a dishy mount. Now i just have to find a good place to pack her…

It’s the short wall mount.Which Starlink mount is that?
Are you talking about the stand shaped like a big “X”? If so, I don’t recall any issues with mine. However, I use the pivot mount with magnets for my camper and the fitment in that is so loose I’m surprised the wind doesn’t blow the dish around.Which Starlink mount is that?
I bought this one below for mounting on a house but it's kind of big to mount on my swing out bumper.

I'm thinking something smaller like you have or mount the stand the RV kit came with on my roof rack. I agree the stand and dish are awkward to pack efficiently. BTW - The dish and stand are a pain to separate/release at least from our experience last weekend.
You’re missing the retention release. Did your dish come like it’s pictured?
Good eye. It had slid up inside the pole towards dish. Got a screwdriver and pried it back into its spot. Thanks! You’re missing the retention release. Did your dish come like it’s pictured?

I’ve seen people have mounted these on boats and they cruise around with them, I’d imagine there are similar stresses on the water. Also, some of the boat mounts have disabled the motor so that the dish is stationary with the fish surface completely flat. Maybe worth looking into, it’s a little out of my comfort zone to get that mod heavy.I’m surprisingly impressed with the speeds I’m getting (I switched from residential to RV), and how quickly it boots up. I have it hacked to use dc or the stock router.
Now I just need to figure out if I can leave it mounted there or if the driving vibrations will jack with the motors.

Nuts. I signed it, had my neighbors and wife sign it and will get more people to sign.New Issue with the "DISH" trying to kill Starlink by saying they (DISH) own the whole band width.
Help put a stop to this now.
