To generalize loud's question, other than the full kit from Goodridge and custom lines from Napa (and think I saw one other place for custom) has anyone a source for stainless lines for the chassis to rear diff line(s)?

You could look at post 29 above for part number and photo. That is for 2" longer kit. If you have non-VSC you are looking for 21126 for stock, 2-21126 for 2" longer and 4-21126 for 4" longer. The VSC version comes in the 3 lengths also.

I just attempted to get info from StopTech about the kit but he just wanted to sell me a BBK.

They make BBKs for the 100???

I called one of the major retailers for Goodridge and they said about 3 week turn around time and send them Skidoo's pics to try and get it done right the first time.

got a name/phone for that contact? I want a set (of 2") and might as well piggy back your order if they are gonna get the set up right per Skidoo pics.. :hillbilly:

I didn't order yet because I wanted it sooner than 3 weeks but perhaps I'll just order them tomorrow. The company I talked to is:

Thanks hoser.

Ok, dumb question of the week, do I have VSC? 2004 LC, non-AHC.

Those eBay descriptions don't mention 2" longer, did you verify that directly with the seller?

Yes, you have VSC. I won't hold it against you since it is after dinner and you've probably had a few already.
The 2" longer designation is in the part number.

With VSC standard length: part# 21127
w/VSC +2": part# 2-21127
w/VSC +4": part # 4-21127

Without VSC standard length: part# 21126
w/o VSC +2": part# 2-21126
w/oVSC +4": part # 4-21126

They can make whatever size you want.

Ok next question, is there a general consensus on how long of a brake line for how much of a lift? In other words I have 2" lift now, but will be going to a 2.5" + .5" body lift very soon. With 3" of lift, should I go with 2+ or 4+ inch, I'm thinking the latter.

The length of the rear brake lines is tied to maximum shock extension rather than lift. IIRC, body lift doesn't matter either since the upper mount is on one of the frame's crossmembers.

So what shocks are you going with? For bolt in shocks, OME N74L (sort of bolt in) seem to be longest and extend 2.6" longer than N101. Does anyone know what length brake lines are needed with N74L?
Please, please, no discussions on value, pros or cons, flames, etc about N74L's. Please just brake line talk here. Search if you need info on N74L, lots and lots of posts on them.
I am running Fox 980-99-417-A in rear and the 2" longer Goodridge work without any stress on the lines.
Had OME N101 in rear before that and they worked fine with them also.

I am running Carl's UCA, Slee drop diff in front with Fox shocks and 1" longer line (as mine were mod'ed) is more than enough. Outside of a SAS think that is the most extension you will get on a 100 front.

So I guess the big question: Is Goodridge currently fabbing the banjo angle portion correctly? Or is there still some question whether they've got it figured out or not?

I made a couple calls today. Goodridge's current front brake line diagram lists a 135 degree banjo fitting which I think is the same as Skidoo's original line. (Any experts in banjo fittings?)So no changes in that regard have been made according to the paperwork. The lady at Goodridge says they've sold a bunch this year with no complaints. FRS can't special order/design the line.

Skidoo, do you have your contact info at Goodridge?

I went to our Parker Fittings store and had them make a couple up for me. SS, DOT 3,000psi burst. They had to get the banjo fittings (73 degree bend with indexing pin) from CA. Should be ready on Monday. He told me $25-$30 each which is very reasonable.

You could make the line fit the way it came, but too much chance of it get hooked by something. Could be some rigs have different caliper, so works for them?
In looking back at my emails. Sent email initially to
USsales@goodridge.net
and then dealt with
karl.kramberger@goodridge.net

The address I sent lines to was:
529 Van Ness Ave.
Torrance, CA 90501,
USA
t.+1 (310) 533 1924
f.+1 (310) 618 0909

Spresso, that does sound like a good deal. Heck, I'll call them and say, 'I'll have what Spresso's having!"

One other option is to buy the goodridge lines as is and have a local shop change that one end. Stillen said they might be able to do that if I send them a pic.

Thanks Skidoo. I'll shoot him an email.
