You said “good people” but posted a pic of Justin and Matt? @nvrlose54 something isn’t right?
Not only that, but in the photo is also a bastardized FJ62 that someone let by as well...
Fresh off of SAS 2023 and looking forward to SSS 2023!

@120mm

Are you making a recon trip before hand? Or think you have it down? Camp sites and trails? Gas stops.

We normally have a Thursday night arrival, Friday dirt trip and dirt Saturday trip. Maybe try to loop back at lunch and pick up stragglers?

I probably can make a quick trip up before if needed and check stuff out.

I can make a recon, sure.

Been awhile since I've been out there.

I've only been to the ORV part once, so am not super familiar.

TBH, I'm not that experienced at these kinds of rides. It's help if someone with more experience checked it out as well

I have no problem going back there for a day or two and providing raw info for someone with more experience planning these though.

I would need to know whether the group expects some kind of park shelter and how primitive they are willing to camp.

There are a couple waterfront campsites that are covered by the $10 for 3 day dispersed camping fee and several that can be reserved for a higher fee that include more amenities.

There is a $20 charge for three day access to the OHV park.

I did a quick map recon and see there are four waterfront basic camping sites. They tend to have vault toilets and picnic tables. I will head out there sometime in the near future and do a report on them. There is also some nice clearings that are accessible to vehicles, but they lack the toilets.

One of the cool things about LBL is because of weather related deadfall, they encourage campers to harvest any dead wood for campfires. 🔥

I’d like to go too just for fun.

I’d say in the past: lakeside camping is priority, toilets are nice, power isn’t required.

I think we all like to ride trials, but a Friday afternoon trip to distillery would be cool.

Just one idiot’s ramblings.

Getting pumped!!

Casey Jones is close and it would be cool.

Practiced my camping grill cooking tonight

It worked
