I looked up a weather report and it said 0 chance Friday thru Sunday. Wtf? Oh well it's the sierras in the summer--expect afternoon t-storms.

noaa.gov says 20% likely to see thunderstorms Fri, Sat and Sun. I've got a bikini top just in case, and one for the 40. :fliipoff2:

I'm all packed and made it 50 minutes to work. So far so good. I'm leaving for the 2nd leg, to Sac in about 20 minutes. I'm still planning to make it all the way tonight. We'll see.

Matt, when you get there, if I'm out riding, my camp will have a pink "I love boobies" tent. Feel free to gather all around it. I don't have anything more than a chair to claim a 2nd camp. I may leave my '40 in camp too and just ride up the OHV and down to D'ville for a shuttle. I'll have my phone and radio in town. Please try to get in touch with me if possible.

Pretty excited to get out there... truck is already all packed up and ready to bounce out tomorrow morning. Kinda wanna go put my new exhaust on before I head up. that way I can drive around with my rear window open and not get all fumed out. lol
 
Well, I got it off, so if there is still a 10am-ish crew rolling up, I will try to make that group, depends on bevmo at this point!!

ok so everyone we just had a severe thunderstorm alert/warning for carson city area and we have had a couple dry strikes north of quincy. if there is going to be a big storm cell it will more than likely be today/tomorrow. most of the storm is south of us and tahoe area and western NV.

Fast eddy if you roll by my house i can give you a ton of crap to claim sites tonight since i need to work my horse and possibly some cows for class tomorrow and wont make it up today.

bring rain gear. we have had storm clouds the last 2 weeks with the humidity no rain yet and it mostly burns off around noon then comes back in the evenings i think its finally going to let loose the next week or so if not this weekend. its muggy as hell and im looking at a pretty damn big thunder cell above my house 30 miles north west of Lakes basin

Yup Sac, what BevMo are you stalking? Going to go into the office at 6am, going to harass my boss to approve my s**t so I can take off by 10am.
