What day is everyone traveling down? Leaving Thursday morning and wheeling Friday-sunday?

I think I just lost my Thursday vacation day.

I’m shooting for a Wednesday departure after work since it’s some serious miles down there. I’m open to doing something shorter in TN or KY if it makes things easier for you and/or if it would include Rome then

686 miles if I leave strait from my meeting on Thursday. 4 fuel stops each way, probably looking at 12 hours of drive time. Definitely a haul.

I just looked it up again.

Judging by how long it takes me to get to Harlan with the trailer, I am guessing this is a 13 hour drive.... Have we made a mistake, planning this for a weekend? Or am I just a pussy?

Also, I am over booked for work right now and I am not against canceling some work, but a 3 day shorter month is gonna make some people pissed at the moment (hiring, so I can go play more...).

Only, have one client in MI currently...

I have something scheduled for that weekend now.

So.... where are we at on this?

I don't know. More people have to chime in.

Mark, Scott?

I’m fine with whatever makes sense for the most people. After cannonballing Moab last year, these aren't bad for me.

AOP, Harlan and Windrock are all 8-9 hour trips instead of 10-11 hour trips.

Adventure Offroad Park is 560 miles
Harlan is 530 miles
Windrock is 530
Hot Springs is 680 - 10-11 hours

ooo, Conway, nice! Those are all around 8.5 hrs. In the past Harlan has not been too terrible for a long weekend... And I don't care which of those we go to if we ditch Hot Springs...

Smorr is also less than 7.5 hrs away...

8-9 hr is more better for me. I may have a work thing thursday evening but I can try and leave after that, drive all night kind of deal. hot springs from chicago at 7pm would suck dick.

True as well.

AOP or Windrock looks pretty sweet. I'd be down for those
