I can say the wipes are great. I bought a different brand from Sportsman's Warehouse here in town.
They are 1/4 ton and they are supposed to float so I guess that is where the 500# comes from. A few years ago I took it through a water crossing that was pretty deep. Can't say if it floated or not but little if any water got in. Just make sure the drain plugs are closed.
Yea, with 5 people and a fridge in the truck, we're definitely bringing the trailer. Mine isn't the original m416 tub and it does have a tailgate. Tailgate fits tight and has weatherstripping, but will have to judge the water crossing when we come to it - sleeping bags may get shifted at the very least.

Enough potty talk. You know, it is really easy to know when Travis has a day off work and too much time on this hands

Man! This thing is super cool!! (No pun intended, lol). I was really worried the 51L would be too big, but it's perfect. Same footprint as my old reliable Coleman 48, just taller. Quiet too. No more soggy food!!!!!!!!

Awesome Luke, that will also run on 120v, right?
We will plug ours in and load it before the trip, handy that way and don't have to upack right away either.
We have used ours to help cool meat right after butchering and as overflow freezer/fridge, ran it for months on AC.

Yep, runs on AC. I've had it plugged up in our dining room since I got home. Cools down very quickly. Being able to pack it a few nights before is outstanding. Wife is pretty excited to be able to take it to town on Sam's club/ grocery runs too. No more sprinting home!
Same one I have, not sure on the size anymore. It's worked great for us! Just a heads up - the low voltage shutdown set to the middle setting doesn't leave me enough power to crank the truck over if it runs down.
It's been a while since I've been on a full fledged camping trip with my dad. Really looking forward to this trip.

I was wondering if the high setting even was even good enough. Says it shuts off at 11.5, which sounds pretty low to me. How long does it take to run your battery down? Hours or days?
