Although I've seen that espresso maker advertised I have not used one nor spoken to anyone that has...

And take me off 'the know it all for 100-series'...that would be hoser :D
 
I can guarantee you that E.S.E. pods are not going to make the grade for spressomon. That stuff was probably roasted last year and ground six months ago. How can you even call that coffee?

Amen to that.

Getting all the variables right for a good espresso, even in ideal conditions is tough. The chances of doing that in my truck are slim at best. Drip is the way to go. I never travel without a manual burr grinder and an ample supply of home roasted beans. With these and a simple pour over filter I can brew world class drip coffee just about anywhere.
 
jetboil or primus one person stove with a press, works real well and is quick.... not prefect but in the middle of nowhere it works....
