As per foldup of 3rd row seat:

How are you/others handling 3rd row stowage now?

Speski OffRoad LTD does not recommend use of the 3rd row seats for passengers with a cargo barrier installed.

My "plan for that" did not pan out

I just did a grey barrier to match a customers grey interior. I included a grey door handle cup in the photo as reference to the OEM grey color. You may also notice I shifted the welded wire a little on the main frame hoop. This is the pattern I've been duplicating now for the last few weeks and what they will look like moving forward.

Damn you!!! Now I am thinking about going brown!!! :bang:

No brown option at this time. My powder coater has not been able to find a good match to my brown/tan interior. We were ale to match the grey very well though.

Heads up on production time.

I currently have one extra barrier coming back from powder coat this week. The rest are all pre-sold. Due to my regular work schedule and a family vacation I will not be able to build any new product for a while. After I sell out again it will be July before any new product is able to ship.

Thanks to everyone who made this a record setting month at Speski OffRoad, LTD. A sale is pending on my last remaining barrier in stock. The next run will be ready for shipment in early July. I will take backorders anytime to place you in line for the next run.

Latest batch going out today.

Edit: Final in-stock unit is sold. All orders taken from here on out will ship in July.

Installed Mine last weekend. Would of gone super smooth, but I didn't follow the detailed instructions. Hand tight means hand tight! I had one side a little more than hand tight and the other side went fine on the first bolt, but bound up on the second. Yep I cross threaded it! Luckily I have a LOT of experience with this so I was able to stop before I really hosed it. No problem to clean it up with a tap, once I went and got the right size.

After cleaning up the threads and loosening the drivers side to hand tight, the fourth bolt went in easy.

If you follow the directions that come with it it should take you about 1/2hour to install it, 10 min of that is unpacking it!

If you think you know better than the guy that designed the thing, then the install is about 2 hrs, including running into town to get a tap.

The barrier seems really solid. I have a Milford for another vehicle, and the Speski is at least as stout as that if not more. The install is ALOT easier as well!

Thanks Corbet! Keep it up!

hey bra, you making any headway on the 60 series deal? I would be interested in getting one made to fit my '88 62. I am looking into cargo solutions for my 62 and this would be a very nice touch!

Custom job

I had a customer request a custom job for a unique pet. He has a parrot that rides with him in his 80 series. So today I built a barrier with expanded steel rather than welded wire.

Here is the pic (bare steel)

How about a FJ60?

I currently have two 80 series barriers in stock and ready to ship. If you are looking for one this spring please contact me with your order.

edit: these have sold. :)

Got the 80 series barrier installed today. I love it! Easy install, looks great, and it will keep cargo off of my 8 month old! Thanks for an awesome product.

The parrot version for the 80 is done before the 100 dog version?
Where's the love?

Speski OffRoad loves parrots.... I'm getting there. 100 series almost complete.

Is "almost complete" anything like "coming soon?"

Just giving you grief. Nice work. Hopefully, the 100 owners will be able to get their hands on these too. ;)
