Yeah I think they are raw as in not painted. Would look sort of funny wouldn't it!

You could just make your own out of masonite, ABS, aluminum or steel.
Not hard at all.

Personally, I like having the use of my kick vents...

They come in a raw finish so you can paint them to match your interior I would think...

wow, those are terrible :flipoff2:.

It doesn't even look like there is a sealed enclosure for the speakers = easily blown speakers = no backpressure.

I use my kick vents almost every time I drive so these would never work for me anyways.

$90 for those?!??!

If you like them so much, I'll make them for only $85!!! Shipped!

I mean, I'd like to put some speakers in my HJ someday, but not at the expense of my kick vents, and certainly not for that kind of money.

I guess I know why an Icon costs so much....

Built and designed by TLC for the ICON. The pics shown are done in wrinkle powder coat. I have mine done in matte black.

What you dont see in that pic is all the bends and how its made. I don't have the time or tools.

Those are offered by TLC and are the same ones that are sold by Spectre. Yep, they would be pretty easy to make yourself but that is your call. The kick vent will still work with these installed. ;D

I was just thinking about having to cut into the door panels that I just ordered. This looks interesting. One question which actually applies to both options how do you protect them from damage if they get wet, marine wiring??? :confused:No idea thought I'd ask. If anyone has a work around it's you guys. Thanks.

I would never cut a panel!!!

Speakers come in marine grade and cheaper to replace then door panels
