Speaker Buzzing

On my 1999 Land Cruiser, the passenger door speaker is making a buzzing (interference) noise when the engine is running. When I switch the engine off and leave the switch in the "ON" position the buzzing stops. So basically there is nothing wrong with the radio deck or speaker. This all started during the cold weather last week.

Any constructive thoughts are welcome.

Does the buzzing fluctuate when you accelerate? If so, it may be a bad ground.

Also, i would swap speakers with driver side and see if the issue follows the speaker.

did you install a new head unit and retain the factory amp?
