The RCI jr dragster belts from Jegs or Summit are 2" wide belts and I think it's what Chris runs. The 3" wide belts I have are too wide for my taste. Check em out

Just looked at a tape measure, and my belts have got to be at least 4" wide. I run just lap belts because I don't have a cage.

Ask Durty Daryl what he'd do. He has 4-point harnesses but usually just runs lap belts. I think his go into one point behind the shoulder blade on his cage.

Will check out. Thanks, So 2" more comfy than 3"

Maybe the Bossman will chime in... I only plan on using the shoulder harness when I am on certin trails:steer:

2" belts more comfy than three - unless you need them. For most rigs I would go 2". If you think you might end up on your lid the trade off for 3" belts is minimal. I put 3" in Sherrys ride.

Would you mount shoulder straps on 1 mount or use two mounts. My current seats have a solid headrest but might upgrade one day to some with holes in the headrest.

I like the Y style that come to one point behind the shoulder. I just think that that design offers the best security in the event of a flop. Just my $.02 though. Nolen has been over a lot more than me so you might want his thoughts as well.

Funny!!

I agree with 2" lapbelts and 3" padded shoulder harnesses. I am guilty of wearing just the lap belt, but towards the end, I made myself wear the harnesses. I never rolled when I expected to roll.

Todd, I have some that are like new I sent you a picture of via text.

The submarine belt is really manatory to keep the belts positioned right so try to figure out how to make them work with your setup.

I see little to no benefit for a submarine belt unless you're drag racing or on your lid more than the rubber. To each their own, but I wouldn't go the extra mile for a crotch-killing webbed belt. I have never had an issue with with my lap belts moving up or down once fastened. Meh...

It is when you put the shoulder harnesses in, they will pull the lap belt up around your ribs when you snug it all down. You won't feel it in your crotch if set up right.

Again, I am no safety ranger, just passing along the info. Each his own.

Delivery in less than two weeks. Put some beer on ice. Now.
