Sanding,Sanding, and more Sanding. I am about sick or sanding! Good thing it is almost DONE!
So I started working on the windshield frame tonight. Georg helped me score some of the brackets I needed for the dash and windshield from a friend of his. I had to fill some holes on the dash from the old bracket that was tore off.(see last picture) My windshield frame had a couple of holes on the hinge part that the threads were kinda jacked up on. I chased them with a tap and on the last one I forced it a little to much:bang: It broke! I had to drill out and tap again.PITA!
The 2nd picture is the "High Tech" paint booth waiting to be put to use:flipoff2:

When you are painting?

Plan on priming this weekend. Paint will follow hopefully with in two weeks. I figure it will take that long to sand everything again. Still have a list of stuff that I have to do that seems never ending:(. Feel free to stop by.

Sanded all day, rinsed the tub. Then I decided to delete the the grab bar from the dash:bang: it flexed to much and I do not think it was original to the truck judging buy the holes. Now a little more body work on the dash. Paint Booth is the Bomb! I will post some pics tomorrow.

Killer work, Todd! When is the next shop party? How are little TJ and Sam doin?! Put TJ and his mountain of energy to work on that Fo' D!!!

I will let everybody know when the sanding party will be held;). TJ is still taking stuff out of the shop that I will never find and he will most likely help me sand after all the painting is done! Sam is doing well just trying to survive his brother.

My $10.50 dash pad arrived today. Now I can finish the dash bar on the cage and get it painted.
I am going with 5 point harness seat belts. Should I get the shoulder straps that mount to one point or the one that uses to points on the cage? I am using my current seats for right now and I might upgrade later. They are from a Honda prelude I think.
