Can still see a little bit of the crack down the front but all in all a vast improvement.
The goop i used is made by 3M.
I may work it a little more tomorrow but i don't want to sand away the texture around the repair much more.

Got to meet Baxter and his kick ass truck today. Didn't spent enough time there as I had my kids with me, but what a truck. It looks perfect bobbed and the driver side with the rear door welded closed, looks very much like a 1st gen 4-runner.

Nice to meet you Baxter. I'll call you soon about those fender tubs and I'll see if my buddy has that power stearing pump too.

Good to meet you as well.
Got the dash put back in after you left, my son and i made short work of it.

Dude your dash looks amazing.

This is the classiest, most awesome FJ60 I have seen.

Curious what kind of paint you are using on those pieces as well.

On the lower portion i used the satin black "Chassis saver" that i have been painting the majority of the black on the truck with.
On the pad and all the other black interior pieces i used "Plasti Kote" for vinyl.
On the cloth and carpet "Plasti Kote" for fabric.

Front seats are in, i think they are Honda seats, not sure have had them sitting around for a while now.
Had to widen and lengthen the tracks, they also sit a little higher than normal but for me and my long legs they are just right.

Those seats look really nice, I'm looking to replace the seats in my cruiser soon so if you figure out what they are from be sure to post up.

The interior is looking really clean, great job.

Where did you pick up the chassis saver paint?
Your build is amazing! Seriously good work...

Sorry i did not see your post till the 8th. I picked it up at Fortines but Wakefield Sperling also has it.

Got around to cutting off the old shock mounts and welding on the shock hoops for new shocks.
Rears to come.

Made up some side panels and covered them with a heavy felt, they look OK but i would like to redo them when i get more time.

Looks awesome! The rear wheel arches look like they've been there from the factory.

Ok, time for me to chime in (I've been following this thread for the last few months), the whole project is just crazy-amazing but the dash that you have going is just sick (not that I don't totally LOVE the rest of the build, especially since that tan is my favorite color that they used on the 60's). Anywho, keep it up and I (along with a few hundred other extremely jealous and inspired 60 owners) look forward to seeing what else you dream up.
