Brant I would plan four, two different batches. I know that I don't want to limit myself to one scoop.

We'll be leaving LA early friday morning (5ish). Would like to caravan with others, but we plan to stop off in Santa Barbara for breakfast.
Mother in law agreed to make some homemade salsa, and we'll bring along everything to make some guacamole saturday night.

What is still needed for dinner?
I'm coming solo (well, Bubba is riding in back) and have a fair amount of room for supplies.
I plan on bringing some red wine. How many bottles (boxes are NOT allowed
) are needed? Any preferences on varitals? I have a decent collection to choose from.
Anything else? I plan on shopping Thursday night.

There aren't to many winos in this group Boyd. I killed my entire bottle by myself last year!
I plan on bringing one bottle - Cabernet, big, bold and dry is always best!!! BTW - glad to see someone else that pukes at box/jug wine!

Plenty of wine drinkers...if you'd been hangin' around some of us NorCal guys, we would've easily helped you polish off your stash of vino. Most of us are equal opportunity drinkers...beer/wine/tequila...
I'll have 2 or 3 bottles of some form of decent red...if you're looking to drink/share wine, swing by.
