DocB's Pics reminded me a trip I took in the good old days. IIRC this is Cinnamon Pass above Silverton, CO. They had cut the snow out for the Heep tours, you can just the top of the snow in the top of the picture.

Looks great considering it hit 111 degrees today, my shop was at 100 and no way I was going to work out there!
I could use some of that snow!

    :)

Here's Imogene Pass this week; still blocked by about 40 yards of snow from an avalanche and not yet passable. The 40 is at the end of the line.

Hey, I was on Cinnamon on the 4th of July! I usually go in August, so I wasn't used to that much snow. I haven't been on the Imogene pass in years, but I love the pics of a place that I know.

I went to Cancun Last August with Similar conditions. I think it was maybe a little hotter though. I dont know how you folks on the east coast take take all that humidity--its awful.

Like they say it's the humidity not the heat that gets you.
