Hey everyone, recently I was replacing my alternator, and to help get it out I removed some old hoses. I figured they were normal old hoses so I cut them out and was planning on getting some new ones at the auto parts store. It turns out the hoses basically don’t exist according to the people I talked to at Napa, so I was hoping Ih8mud could help me track them down.

-The house I marked in yellow connects to the smog pump at point #1 yellow
-I don’t know what the red house is connected to at point #1 red
-The red and yellow houses connect to the same spot at point #2

Does anyone know the part number for these houses, or happen to know if I can use any hose with the same dimensions?

Yellow hose is 1734261060
Red hose is 1734361040

I believe they are both discontinued. Generic hose with close dimensions will work fine. Also, I was able to pass Colorado emissions on my 3FE Fj62 without the smog pump, by the skin of my teeth. YMMV

Great, thanks so much for the info. Sadly I live in California and my car already barely passes smog so I definitely still need the hoses 😢

Is it ok to run my car without the hoses without doing anything to the connection points— just until I can get my hands on some new ones

Yes. But chances are after 29 years the check valve(black thing towards the engine) will leak a tiny little bit of exhaust gas. Not enough to cause any concern
