Anyone know if one of these bumpers built for an '85 4runner would be a straight bolt up for the 2nd generation pickups? I'm guessing not....

Almost positive the answer is no. No other bumper brand crosses over from 85 to 86 on the 4Runners.
Personally, I wouldn't bother, unless it was free. Not even sure that would be worth it. I had a Smittybuilt rear bumper and it was pretty much a POS, I got really sick of repainting it.

Yes, it would be free (also old and somewhat rusty) but I know what you mean. My rear bumper is this brand, and it's pretty much necessary to re paint every year. Can't decide what to do with the front. I will be replacing the front fenders due to rust and a minor accident. The stock front bumper is basically toast with rust holes and dents, so it's time to ditch it. Probably will go with a stock replacement if I can find a cheap source locally, but I'd like to go with an ARB.
