Don't think it was Brock. I haven't heard this this one yet. Not trying to make myself sound like a hardcore rock crawler but if anybody out there has bent a WK it would of been me at URE or RiverRock. I could see the LX version of any slider getting bent easier than the LC, but a well designed slider shouldn't, regardless of 2 or 3 feet

Not sure how it got bent but I remember looking at it at URE one time. Maybe the wife tookout a shopping cart at the mall during a big sale.

I was gonna hold out for the Slee Step Sliders, but the MT deal on the 28th may very well make me jump ship. That is a great price.

Combine that with Camel4x4's coupon code for Friday and my credit card may just suffer a nuclear meltdown :grinpimp:

UZJ100elkhntr: Interested in combining our orders to save on shipping? I live in SC but am in Charlotte all of the time. I will send you a PM as well.

Now that the OP has mentioned that he is getting the MT sliders and this thread has turned into a discussion of those sliders.. Anybody around Minneapolis want to get on the sale and save some on shipping..

Wasn't the first production run a GroupBuy that was more expensive than the regular sale pricing right now ???:hhmm:

I don't think that even group buy pricing will beat the deal the MT is offering right now. Man I wish I had the extra beans laying around for a set...

I'm in Bham, but am in MS all the time for work. I wonder if a group freight would really save much money? :hhmm:

I checked with MT yesterday. It would save 40 a person for 2 sets shipped to the same business location (used Jackson zip)

Btw LT, what is the latest on the the rail length issue that some wanted to be a little longer than the 1st set produced for the 100 Series?

(I'll try to find a link to what I am talking about and post it here)

I think the rail (as defined by the fabricated trapezoidal section) length remains the same, it's just that on the prototype the outer tubing tied in further aft allowing for a shadetree mudflap install.

We lengthened the front rail an extra 3" to terminate near the bump out on the body clad.

170 to Jackson
260 for 2.

$150 to Monterey CA. Just so you know.

Sent from my mudPhone using IH8apple

It's $140-$170 shipped to Centennial, CO depending if it's to a freight center (Henderson, CO) or to my house (Centennial, CO). Anyone from the Front Range want to combine shipping? If not, for the extra $30, I'll have them dropped at my front door. Let me know by Monday. I really considered the SLEE steps, but the deal MT is running is too good to pass up.

I'm going to pull the trigger on a set of these Monday for shipment to Houston/Katy. If anyone in the area wants to combine shipping let me know.

I wish I was in the position right now to get in on this with you, I live nearby. Just isn't in the cards until tax time. Always a day late and a dollar short when it comes to deals like these.
