Slee AHC override install

So I finally bought a 2005 LX470, really wanted a land cruiser but they are a lot more expensive. Anyway, I didn't want the AHC suspension but now that I have the LX I want a way to keep in in High if I want to. Researched and all I found was a Slee over ride switch which they no longer make. I kept researching and figured out that all I need to over ride the AHC is a simple double pole-single toggle switch. I don't need a LED to tell me is the system is on or off. Anyway, I bought a $7 dollar switch and a few wire connectors and used some wire I had laying around. I followed the Slee over ride installation instructions and wired up the new switch. Works great! Under $10 mod lolView attachment 2345036View attachment 2345034View attachment 2345032

Thanks for sharing. Very clever! Bookmarked and on my list.

Hello !

Great tutorial, but what is the other 2 wire what you connected to the 4pol Switch , i see here only 4 and 17 of the S6 connector?
Could you please describe, which pin of the 4pol Switch should be connecting which wire.
Where did you find the pdf-file ?

I would like to also override my LC100 but also with an economic way.
Best regards,

Adam.

Now that you've been running the mod for the last 6 months - any type of negative side affects?

If I understand correctly, the switch is to turn the override on and off. If I were to just want the override to be always on, so I could manually set my height at will, could I just cut the two cables?
