Got the Genesis back today. Had DJs Bump and Paint, in GP, do the repair. They killed it. Jess said its better than new.
Thanks to Chad and Farmers as well. Other than a minor hiccup, this was about as painless as possible.

10 years ago today....
I was probably thinking I'd have a nice big shop set up for projects like this.. I think I've had this motor for about. 10 yrs... The 60 for about 2 yrs... I am slow...

It's a 6AT, indirect injected diesel, Onans/Cummins. 120 HP, 3.4 liter. I'm keeping this cheap until it's a known good motor. The stock 4 speed and TC are going in it for now. I haven't had much down time from work so projects like take way to long...

Can't wait to see Jesse cross Deer Creek in that in Spring! I do like the green paint though. Can you guys suggest a couple good spots for me to take my Grand kids plinking....?? Gotta smoke test Ty's old .22 and I've got an AR to do some sight work on. 
Burgers and burnouts at the dragstrip last night. Everyone else was lame, if you have a muscle car with a blower through the hood I expect you to do something! Bunch of guys just parked and didn't fire up their cars til they left. I did back to back burnouts after a quick tire change, I came prepared! Blew up 4 tires on the nova.
