I went and looked at this cruiser last year. The engine is rough sounding, and the lockers wouldn't engage. I took it for a quick spin, and it would be an all right parts mobile. Other things I noticed where the drivers door was taken apart and window was held up by a stick...

I would love to come along for a run! Just picked up the Cruiser saturday and am poking away at little things. Quite an upgrade from my sammi that I wheeled also!!
I'm in the Gold Hill and Grants pass region quite a bit also.

Prospective New Guy

Okay - I just found out there won't be a Rubithon this year (unless you're among the annointed) :crybaby: and I am already having withdrawl symptons. I guess it's time to find a club again. I've exchanged a few emails with Jerod, but since he's at the bottom of the earth, real time phone calls are probably out of the question. Someone want to send me a PM with a phone # so I can learn a little more? :cheers:
 
Off topic but "threeeyedbandit" aka Matt... Do you work at Al's Hobbies? I just ran into an old buddy of mine and he was talking about his friend Matt who just bought an 80... Just curious if its the same Matt?

That was Jayme, he told me about this sweet land cruiser around the corner a while back. Some day we will have to do some wheeling. How's the car workin out?
