Finally circling back around to working on the pig. Just had to pull this engine out really quick. It's the new 6.0 going in the nova. The 4wd versions are a real beotch to pull! I'm
gonna put the master and booster outta this Denali in the pig.

I thought about it but the front diff is in the way so you gotta drop it before you can do much else. The engines are just crammed in there. Next time I'll buy a 2wd and see if it's any better.

I remember that driveway! Today I drove up past Applegate Lake. It's almost completely empty and there was a large crowd of mud-whompers down in the bottom getting stuck and trying to climb the sides w/o much luck. I continued up the 1050 road to Cook&Green pass and Windy Peak, a favorite drive of mine. Really sad up there as the Miller Complex fire burned at least 50% of everything up there. Not only was the lake empty in January but aside from Elliot Creek and the applegate there is absolutely zero snow or running water on that pass. It usually has all kinds of water even in Summer but it was dry and creepy. I think this Summer is gonna suck big time.

So my lights showed up...somehow uPs made it up my driveway again. Ive gotta say the versatility and output of these lights at the price point is pretty incredible.
