Just trying to imagine how fun it will be to drive one of these with the roof off at home in Bali...

Love Kuta, was there a few years back spent alot of time at Saury. 2weeks after I left it was destroyed.

Sorry, I am not a fan of Kuta or of the destroyed Sari Club. I am dreaming of driving the truck with the roof off around rice paddy fields, quiet lush country roads in view of the volcanoes in the Ubud environs, not in the concrete jungle of south Bali. I am dreaming of this:

awesome rigs

You guys already know this but...............FJ40's are the best looking off-road rigs I have ever seen. Just seeing one instantly evokes thoughts of Adventure and exploration(well for me anyways). We are all very fortunate to own a piece of a timeless legendary vehicle. I literally see mine in the garage or see others in pictures and I instantly want to grab my boots, rifle and bag and get the heck outta town.

This is an awesome picture. Its a truly RAW FJ40 that looks like its seen many a mudhole, rocks, tree stump, and long day of work. I think if Maximus or Akiles were alive today THIS would be their chariot of choice. Heck I think its quite possible that Leonitus and the Spartans used 40's in their battle against the Persians.....
