About the speedo, mine did the same thing. The gauge cluster is bad. Talked to GM and they replaced under warranty.

We stay at Hot Springs AR nowadays. We still have a house for sale in Memphis, that shining city on a hill.

As far as coke for breakfast, I thought I had the market cornered on that.
I got it from my dad, a former fighter pilot, who said the fighter pilot breakfast was a coke, a smoke and a puke.

Glad you guys had fun and sorry for the damage. Nothing the pancake house cant fix.
 
I want to thank the Ross and Tolleson families for joining us unexpectedly in Hot Springs this weekend. Really brightened up an otherwise dull sort of plan. We got to enjoy some good food at Cajum Broilers, do some wheeling, some wrenching, some story telling and mostly a lot of gawking at Lala's Fine 40! Thanks guys - we had a blast! October can't get here soon enough for me!:beer:

We had a really great time too! ( despite the fact that my girl is down for the count for now!)
It was worth it to hang out with everybody and get a feel for the truck doing something other than 60 down the back roads!
Can't wait for October!

Nolen, I would think you would be more comfortable with this particular fact of life by now. I seem to remember another fully hot Cottonland wife, a redhead this time, that surely operates under the same set of rules. Come on...admit it!
