Service manual 1999 vs 2001

Hello! New here and looking for some help. I may be purchasing a service manual for a 2001 LC but I have a 1999 LC. I’m mainly looking to find out how to service the A/T properly. Could I use the 2001 book and it apply to the engine/transmission I have? Or is there really no difference?

No appreciable difference on transmission. I have a 2000 LC manual for my '99 LX470, so I'm missing AHC and other bits, but it's good enough for most stuff that fails.

Have you looked at the various online resources for the factory manuals?

Reviewing those gave me the peace of mind to wait for the right deal on a set of printed manuals.
