there was is Israeli company that made a pretty slick trany lock......might be the one a few post above
when I got my 86 in 1999 it had a key slot on the front fender, that was part of the 1986 security system the original owner had in. I still get people asking why it has a lock on the fender....

I like this as well These types of security systems where the thief cannot move the shifter or use the pedals are far better than those loud alarms. Plus in remote sections when hiking, does anyone even hear them?
I want a switch that changes when the ignition is keyed the horn sounds.
Mainly for when the car is in the driveway at night. I also hope that it would scare the crap out of anyone trying to get the car going.
Again, all this is to prevent someone from “trying” really hard. If the car is dragged onto a rollback, I think a separately wired GPS signal is the only thing that might help.
