I was just up at Gallagher Lake this Sunday after seeing it being recommended on here. As someone coming from Florida, that trail was awesome. I'm not going to lie at few spots it felt pretty nerve wrecking, however that's just because I was not used to it.

Nice! ...and it's empty... even better!

Can anyone recommend a good car-camping spot within 4 hours that's so remote and difficult to access that it's unlikely to be full for Labor Day weekend? 😁

Probably anything on section 5 of the wabdr will be pretty open. It’s a long drive to get back in there.

Would check conditions first…red flag warning this weekend up in north central areas

There are lots of pull off spots on WABDR 2 after bethel ridge and before you drop off into Naches.

Colockum wildlife area between Kittitas and Wenatchee is absolutely massive, the north and south edges of the area will be busy but I doubt the middle will. But there are literally 100s if dispersed spots if you just look for them.

Stampede pass will be busy on the 410 side but also lots of dispersed spots especially up in the mountains.

Any of you guys go fishing? Gallagher head lake or otherwise? I never went growing up and not trying to learn with the kids ( 5 and 3), would love to drive out to a quiet lake somewhere and fish off the bank. Figured the offroad Lakes prob most quiet

I’m over in port gamble for a bike race on Sunday. I’ll look to see how far it is over. Race runs thru 1p though.

Anybody want to hit up Tahuya for a 1/2 day? I still haven’t done new south loop.

I’m free this weekend. Weather looks fair but slightly better Sunday.
I wish work has me slammed! Wanna play hooky on Monday afternoon or Tuesday?

Last call!

What's going on Sunday? the link is to a meetup Thursday eve.
****, you R right. Not sure where my wires got crossed. I may still go. I was working and other things when I saw it and got a little mixed.

Either way we should have our own meet up for beers Sunday. Maybe the old shop club. I'm not a member anymore but it is centralish.

Looking for campsite beta off 20 for Twisp, okanagon, loup loup area. Any gps coordinates you all have saved I can borrow?

I am down for either option. Let's get something started. I'm new to the area but I'm willing to drive.
