I gotta swing by the yard sometime this week so I'll keep an eye out for some.

dangit i have a grey interior. let me see if i can find any at the pick and pull first. I wish i had a brown interior but too much trouble to switch over.

eadwards, You did not post that detail. I assumed you hadn't done anything. If you want the answer you're looking for, you'll need to provide specifics, including type, color and whether you want pigtails. A new heater switch, they'll run $80+. Did you email Dave@japan 4x4?

Pick-a-Part places generally charge $5. Pigtails come with if you clip them. Pigtails are rather generic so you can usually find one that will work in any Toyota if you just have the switch
Quick "chip" search on Ebay for you:
These should work

First things first I am going to search my pick and pull to find out what is available. If this works then i will buy there and find the mating part to the plug already under the console. This is my initial plan. We will see if it works out. my local pick and pull has several mid 90's lexus vehicles (at least that is what they say online). We will see whats available, i will stock up on what i can. My pile of toyota parts is starting to take up too much of my garage;)

thanks for the links. I am trying to find the 2 position switches with the lo/hi option. Hoping for good luck at the pick and pull

Thanks for that. If i am not lucky with my search endeavors I may go this route. Hopefully I can find the desired switches - i try to stockpile switches for use in the future.

Updated the wiring diagram in post #104 with some information on the type of diodes I used

Posting again here for convenience

Sold my OEM seat heater switches and paid for my seat heater kit 100% with change. Installed the kit supplied switch in a blank filler in place of an useless coin holder spot. 100% happy with the low cost option.

Like to let anyone who is interested or looking for the JDM heater switch, I have 2 sets in stock. May keep 1 set for my parts pile ;)

I would like a matched set like pictured. I should really start installing this stuff, I've only had the heat inserts for 4 years...

I'm planning on using your method too. Saves money and it's just plain easier since it comes with the heat seat kit. How did you wire up the heaters to the switch???

I have a lx450 and I haven't found exactly where the oem plugs are. Some say it's behind the dash but no one has commented exactly where. I'm wondering if the plugs even exist for the lx450. Googled the fourms and found no pics of the lx450 oem heat seat plugs.

I figure if it's not there, why use oem switches. I would have to make my own wiring some how.
