Every lx owner says no center plugs and it's in the dash but no one has posted any pictures or confirmations that is actually there

Perhaps, but in this thread, there is another example of an LX with no plugs under the center console.

I would like to see an example of an LX that DID have the plugs. All the installs I have seen have been in LCs.
Yea I've been searching for hours on multiple fourms. No concrete info on lx plug location.
I'm not really worried any way since I'll be using the aftermarket switches included in the heated seat kit I'm buying from amazon. I just ordered lx450 covers from lseat.com. I'm hoping they are good stuff. Also going to order lx450 driver foam bottom from cruiser parts. Mines not bad at all but I figure I'm in there so might as well do it.
I'm thinking about attempting the install and diy myself. Harbor freight sells hog ring pliers for 5

Bringing up an old thread, sorry! I've searched and read through all the seat heater threads I could find, but am still unsure as to how to wire up my seat heaters. I'm working on a 96 Land Cruiser with the factory seat heater switches and pigtails plugged in to the factory connectors under the center console.
From the console I have power to the underseat factory connections.(high=12V@blue/orange wire low=12V@blue/black wire White/black=ground)
I bought my seat heaters on ebay a while back and installed them when I redid my leather. My seat heaters are the type with the relay. I have the two connectors with +12V & Ground for the seat back and cushion underneath the seat.
Has anyone used this type of seat heater and if so, how did you wire it up? Do I need to keep the relay in the harness or cut that all out? Pics of my harness:

Do you recall what size hole you drilled to mount these switches? 3/4 perhaps. I have the same seat heater kit and switches.

I just put this same set up in 60. I just. Ought mine on amazon, but they look to be same basic setup. Super easy install. Hardest part was taking the seats apart to fit the heater pad in. Although my upholstery guy helped with that since I was fixing a torn driver seat at the same time. I also had him swap the seat bottom cushions. Now the worn out drivers side edge is on the inside of the passenger seat.
As for wiring, just route switches and power and ground under carpet along door sill and mount switch where you’d like. I put mine switch in 2 blank spots on the dash. It is very much plug and play. Leave the relays alone, you need them for low and hi function. Hook to ground and hook to ignition power. Then button everything up. Now you got yourself some hot buns.
Because the hole takes up most of the blank I was not able to drill it I used a porting tool or dremel type tool to make the hole
