Also, anyone replaced their splash guards? Did you just get direct replacement or look at the upgraded aftermarket versions?

You mean the rubber shields inside the front fender that cover the gaps between frame and body? I replaced a couple of mine (they were dry rotted) with OE ones and then got a full set of aftermarket. The aftermarket ones from Rad Rubber are noticeably thicker and sturdier, and they cost less too.

Exactly what I was looking for! TY

Did about 50 miles of interstate driving to a friends house today. Control arms made exact improvement I was looking for. Smooth and easy handling. No darts, and a lot less corrections 🤩

Glad to hear that. Will continue to monitor since you and I have nearly identical builds going.

Headed to the lake this weekend with both girls and two dogs. This seemed to be the way ✔️

You didn't have issues with the clamps on that and the rack? Just got a Yakima Skybox cause it's one of the only ones with a flat bottom still for my Gamiviti.Thule looks nice up there!
I was installing it on the rack in the rain at REI and I thought, dang this thing is not going to fit. But after some finagling it does fit in one location on my Gamiviti rack. Rei re-assured me with their 💯 guarantee so I guess if any trouble on the first trip or I decide i would like a more flexible fitment I’ll exchange for a Yakima. But it does seem to slot in just right at the extremes of adjustment allowed. I’ll try to get a closeup of the fit tomorrow.

I'm just surprised the indents fit! I did a ton of research on these prior to purchasing mine and just didn't want to deal with the indents lol. For what it's worth, the Yakima skybox 18 fits pretty perfectly if you need more room or the Thule doesn't work out! Only reason I thought the Thule wouldn't work is cause the clamps can't fully clamp onto the bars (so I thought), but if you're getting full clamping then should be fine. The Yakima one's fully close onto each bar and it doesn't move at all once tightened.

Yeah the second pic is the rear indent. It seems very secure. Also…on auto pilot drove straight in the parking garage at work not thinking… bang bang! Luckily the box was secure enough and the warning caution sign was light enough that there’s no apparent damage to the box or roof! My heart was racing like crazy thinking I ripped my roof off or busted up my brand new storage box 😅

Ha-ha! Been there/done that. (no damage either...)
It only takes one time and you'll probably never do it again.

Looks like that size fits perfectly but any bigger and you'd be out of luck! Those indents are perfect. Gotta get Tim to add this fitment to his site lol

It’s been a good day. Dropped the trusty steed off for suspension services after a morning ride. Bought all new drivetrain consumables to do myself when I get her back. Tacos with the tiny girl and mom.
