I have reverse engineered a few schematics for the various FJ40 and FJ60 related electronic devices like emission computers, carb fan controllers, ac amplifiers, etc. I shut down my shop so I wanted to get these out to the world so it won't be lost when I am gone. I will start with this one since the 78 carb fan controller is by far the most unreliable. I will post more here as I get them cleaned up. Please report any errors you find.

81+ 2f carb fan control. My notes say 79 and 80 circuits are the same, but I have not re-verified that.

edit - the 79/80 part 85927-60021 does appear to be the same as the 81+, just in a metal box.

24v AC Amplifier. There are two versions here, 077300-0851 (short board, 9 pin) and 077300-0860 (long board, 7 pin). They have the same circuit but different boards and plugs.

I worked out how to use a couple of different datsun/nissan intermittent wiper modules with the OEM FJ40 intermittent wiper switch to add intermittent wipers to the FJ40 wiper motor that is switched on the negative side of the motor. Use at your risk. I have some of the switches if you want to do this.

So that's how you built mine. Thanks for posting the schematic.

I have a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach with @Engineer8000 out of the picture on electronic part rebuilds. I'd like to at beg you for more time....and also congratulate you and express my gratitude for what you've given back to the community!

Please... We need a new electronic engineer to step up and fill these big shoes.

The main reason I shut down is the liability. To somewhat shield myself I had an LLC. That in itself is some overhead, quarterly income and sales taxes. I did not want to continue with that so shut down. Still enjoy the work though.

This is the last one. FJ40 AC Controller 88610-60050 (12V) and 113900-0260 (24V). I made this from my notes; I don't currently have one in the shop. Let me know if you find any errors.

@woody Can these go in the "resources" section?

@Engineer8000 What is the liability risk doing these? I have some ideas but wanted to gauge what you were thinking.

In our litigious society, you never know. The people on here are pretty stand up, I never had a bad experience with anyone I have done testing or repairs for.

That's what I figured. Your services were very much needed Russ, so thanks for hanging in there while you could - and thanks for dressing up my 60 Emissions Computer.

Now there's nobody left carrying this torch. Hopefully there's enough good vintage electronics out there.
