Another good one!

Lee, we need to retrace the Turtle's route when we do Alaska Cruiser Trek 20XX.

That's my dream trip for sure

Whoa,

Lee, you've got some kind of willpower. Your writing is incredible...I could feel the temptation...I need a beer :p

Sir, thank you for sharing, this has got to be the most interesting Land Cruiser history i´ve ever read.

By the way she was pretty indeed, I don´t know if my will power had survived this temptation!

Hallelluyaahhhh!!!

Good Lord man, you spin a good yarn! The fact that it is true only adds to the flavor. I wait every day for a new chapter and thank you for sharing this epic adventure. I think we should all take notes.

Thanks again for sharing, and for letting us know that Army is doing better :)

When did you have a chance to take a picture of her? Does she come back later in the story? Or is that some random picture of a gal who looks like her?

Lee, You tale has many valuable life lessons to be learned. It has inspired some to take the path less traveled and others, myself included, to value and cherish the time spent with love ones. My Dad sounds alot like yours but the only difference is that he never took an interest in wrenching on cars. I think I will invite him over the next time I start tinkering on the cruiser so we can hang out and bond.

Thanks for the inspiration! I look forward to the rest of the tale.

Oh hell, I thought it was because he was a 'Navy' man. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

No pics. I doubt I could have pulled that off. The photo I posted is Elle Macpherson at age 35, which would have been about the same age as the road block girl, Gayla. She looked about the same as Macpherson in this photo, maybe better.

I am trying to understand why you did not go to the hotel with her?

See Yooper's explanation. I may be old but I ain't stupid.

Because he's happily married and he's not an a******?

Yooper for the win. My wife rocks.

Did I say that? If I didn't, I should have. They were mighty perky. :grinpimp:
