One problem i ran into was the drivers side Warn was missing both sheer pins. No luck at Napa, Oriellys a few towns away had a box of pins but i wasnt sure of size.....so i dropped into a local machine shop and had a buddy caliper them. they showed 7mm on the caliper....but some .275 hardened studs had some wiggle room in the barrel....and he said he didnt have any .276-.278's and suggested calling Warn for the right/tight fit needed.

Fast forward- Warn doesnt have 60's-70's hub parts. so im sorta at a standstill trying to figure out what to do on this side. it doesnt really make sense to buy a set of these for the sheer pins/studs---and doesnt really make sense to have a machine shop make a pair. (Probably cheaper to get some newer Ascos etc.than run 70s era old hubs)

trunion races on both sides were dented up......so im guessing this rig sat at the walnut farm for quite a while at some point. balls looked pretty good/a little rust and cleaned up well. and best of all - Koyo main bearings and races all looked great - cleaned up well and reused.

If you need an exact size pin you might look at pin gauges, you can get any size you need here. McMaster-Carr
These are 2” long and Rockwell C60 Tool Steel so pretty hard if that’s what you’re looking for.
