The cost isn't bad if you figure it all in, and it goes down if you have an annual permit for windrock etc.

The ATR is Sept 1-4. And yes that is Labor Day. I have a RV space reserved. I believe You can camp in the Group Camping Area as part of registration Appalachian Toyota Round Up
To deviate back on topic a little bit, I ended up doing a Sunday ride with my fiance this past weekend out on the Dirt Devil trails, West of Nashville. I tracked about 49 miles and thought I'd share a few pics.
That is awesome, I definitely need to do this with Erin one weekend. Looks like a nice ride.
There's some pretty awesome spots along the way. Lots of water crossings, cool bridges and tons of old bars like above. @jynx
Let's make it a family outing, @jynx. We'll bring the GX.

I tried to fit a a 40" LED on there, but the fiance couldn't see out the windshield...maybe next year

We should organize a weekend for all of us to take a ride out there. That way 5-10 different people don't have to buy the maps online.

@ugamurph you have a copy of the map? I have access to a large format scanner and would be happy to scan it in and make a pdf of it. $20 dollars seems steep if it as "crude" as you imply.
