LOL! SnT - yep, that's what I love about Sheep Canyon. Peace and quiet and as much solitude as you want.

Check your other thread Brent, I brought up going up to Salvador Canyon to camp. At least we can drive it and see what you guys think. It is not as scenic as Sheep at night but it definitely more secluded than Sheep has been lately. Either way it sounds fun.

Well, it's not looking good for me to go out and play this weekend. I have some threads to fix in the knuckle housing. Maybe this is the way things were supposed to work out? My parents & my Aunt and Uncle from New Jersey called me Saturday night and decided to come down to San Diego this cmoming weekend. When I told them about my off-road plans they said to go ahead and have fun it was my B-Day and that we would get together before I left and when I got back Saturday evening.
Guess I will be hanging with family! OH and I will probably be wrenching on my truckstill.

Sorry to hear about all this Mark. I agree with Dave - retap the housing threads and you'll probably be ok. So far as the caliper bolts I agree that you need to replace those!

Retap the housing threads an use the correct bolt to see if you've got enough thread to hold. I'm not extremely close, but I do have a metric tap set you can borrow, or visit your local hardware store for the correct tap size/pitch.

Good Luck!!!
