What this recently when you got the last engine in?
The clutch slave is in and I drove 50 miles for a shakedown drive while picking up some Blue Parrot spaghetti for the trip. All seems fine.
For those who don’t know, Blue Parrot was near our house in Louisville and is well known today for their spaghetti sauce in grocery stores, though it’s actual nothing like the real thing. Blue Parrot closed in 2017 after 98 years in business, but the 5th and 6th generation of the family opened a food truck last year in Longmont, CO. They are open on Sunday and Thursday and I highly recommend stopping by.
In any event, the Cruiser seems to be ready to hit the road on Friday!

Where in Longmont?
They are on the north east corner of Hoover and 18th Ave. on Sunday and Thursday. They are either not open or on the road at events during the rest of the week.

Right?!? - waders and fly rod are always packed for a day off from the trails and a day spent wading the San Miguel, the Uncompahgre, and the Gunnison.
My son will roll 300k on the way out. Anyone have an extra 300k club sticker I could snag when we get there? Otherwise I’ll order one for our return.

Nope, not a singles milage club sticker in my treasure of stickers, I mean decals. I just went down a rabbit hole and now I surrounded by decals!

All, I had to drop from this year’s fun! Recently lost my 15 year old heeler, with whom I did search and rescue for about 11 years. Images below of Dexter, out at the training area and in the back of my FJ60. I thought his passing freed up a lot of time for me, but I found a little heeler mix that was on death row at Maricopa Animal Control and I just rescued him three days ago. He is still going through decompression and there’s no way I’m going to leave my wife with his handful of energy a week from now! So someone gets my ticket and I’m sure they will enjoy the heck out of it. I was super looking forward to it and will try to get on the list for SAS11 if there is one!
