HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!! I'm pullin the Sidekick Trany/T-case Doubler (SHOTGUNBOX) and Zuk 6.5.1 T-case and replacing it with duel Toyota 23 spline T-cases with the Marlin adapter and 4.7 gears in the F&R cases & twin sticks. The rear case will be a complete Marlin chromoly 4.7 gears & Longfield chromoly out put shaft. I'm using a engine trany adapter from Trail Tough to run a Toy W56 5-speed and a Trail Gear duel case X-member. The new crawl ratio will be 395:1

My heavy foot and 39's keep riping the Suzuki chit apart

39's + heavy foot = BOOM!!!!

my 38s have been giving my sammy tcase troubles. i slipped off a ledge at katemcy last year and destroyed the output shaft. I had a stock spare tcase with me and with some help from Mark and Marlin i was on the trail the next day. I am heading out to the new park on March 17. if i destroy another one then i am going to do what you are doing! nice write up, appreciate the pics.

Are you Jwade on the other forums?

Looks like a caravan of gears! What's the overall length of that set up? Would be good to know before I stretch my wheelbase.. Looks stout. Looks to be heavier than the Sammy stuff ; )

It is 45 1/2" long. Very stought. 459.1 gear ratio

Tapage, its a W56 top shift trany

I'm gettin everything mocked up and I had to shorten my lower links so my x-member will fit

OK. Finally had time to get the clutch together. Its still gona be the Suzuki 16V clutch and fly wheel. I just drilled the flywheel for a 22R pilot bearing. I'm using a 22R clutch disk riped down 3/8"

what did you use to rip down the 22R clutch disk?

Trying to picture how you did this. so i am a little puzzzled. did you have to rip down 3/8 of an inch off the diameter of the 22R clutch disc? or just certain sections?

I took 3/8" off the OD of the clutch disk so it would match my Sidekick 16V pressure plate surface. I shaved it with a reverse cut drill bit like you would shave wood with a sander or metal with a grinder. I work for Shell Oil. We have a machine shop that is capable of countless wonders.

 I may be redneck but not hill billy.

Every time I get my mockup ready I have to cut more to make it fit. I'm thinkin about just getting the floor board from a Toyota truck and work it in.

may be easier to just cut out and patch panel it. trying to fit a whole yota floor board may be alot more work. the yota floor board will have to be modified as well, right?
